My Concept Cloud ("we," "our," or "us") is operated by Gregory Hudler, an individual based in Pennsylvania, USA. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the My Concept Cloud mobile application and website (myconcept.cloud).

By using My Concept Cloud, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and optional display name and username.

Content You Create: We store the concepts, projects, worlds, outlines, and other creative content you create within the app. This content is yours and is stored securely on our servers.

Usage Data: We may collect anonymized data about how you use the app to improve our services, such as which features are used most frequently.

Device Information: We may collect basic device information such as device type and operating system version for debugging and compatibility purposes.

Payment Information: Payment processing is handled by Stripe and Apple. We do not store your credit card or payment details on our servers.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve our services
  • To sync your creative content across your devices
  • To process payments and manage your subscription
  • To send you important account and service notifications
  • To respond to your support requests
  • To power AI features using your vault content (processed by Anthropic's Claude API)

4. AI Features

My Concept Cloud uses Anthropic's Claude API and OpenAI's embedding API to power AI features including concept clustering, writing prompts, and world consistency checking. Your content may be sent to these services to generate AI responses. We do not use your content to train AI models. Please review Anthropic's and OpenAI's privacy policies for details on how they handle data.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a trusted cloud database provider. We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit and at rest. Row-level security ensures that your data is only accessible to you.

While we take data security seriously, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information or creative content to third parties. We share data only with:

  • Supabase — database storage and authentication
  • Anthropic — AI features (Claude API)
  • OpenAI — semantic search and embeddings
  • Stripe — payment processing
  • Apple — in-app purchases and App Store subscriptions
  • Vercel — web hosting
  • Google — advertising on our Free plan (Google AdSense)

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your account and all associated data
  • Export your creative content at any time
  • Opt out of non-essential communications

8. Children's Privacy

My Concept Cloud is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

9. Advertising and Cookies

My Concept Cloud is free to use on our Free plan, which we may support by showing advertising. We do not show ads to subscribers on our paid plans, and we never place ads inside the writing surfaces (the outline, manuscript, and script editors).

We may use third-party advertising vendors, including Google, to serve ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info. Where required by law (for example, in the EEA and the UK), we will ask for your consent before serving personalized ads.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the app. Continued use of My Concept Cloud after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
