Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using My Concept Cloud (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. My Concept Cloud is operated by Gregory Hudler ("we," "us," or "our"), based in Pennsylvania, USA. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

My Concept Cloud is a creative outlining tool that allows users to capture ideas, build story worlds, create outlines, and use AI-powered tools to develop their creative projects. The Service is available on iOS, iPadOS, Apple Watch, and web at myconcept.cloud.

3. Account Registration

To use My Concept Cloud, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Keep your account credentials secure
  • Be responsible for all activity under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized account use

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

My Concept Cloud offers a free tier and paid tiers — Indie, Pro, and Studio. Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly, and annually where offered).

  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings; cancelling stops future renewals but does not refund the current period

No refunds.All payments are final. Except where a refund is required by applicable law, or by the platform you purchased through (for example, Apple's App Store refund process for in-app purchases), subscription fees and all other charges are non-refundable — including for partial billing periods, unused time, cancellations, downgrades, or features you chose not to use.

Changes to plans and features. We may change, add, remove, or re-price subscription tiers, features, and included services at any time and without prior notice. If a change materially affects the paid plan you are currently subscribed to, we will notify you, and you may cancel your subscription before your next renewal date so you are not charged for the changed plan.

Annual subscriptions. By purchasing an annual subscription, you acknowledge and agree that the tiers, features, and services included in your plan may change during your subscription term, and that such changes do not entitle you to a refund or reimbursement of any amount already paid.

5. Your Content

You retain full ownership of all creative content you create using My Concept Cloud, including concepts, projects, worlds, and outlines. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, sync, and process your content solely to provide the Service to you.

We do not claim ownership of your creative work. We will never use your content for purposes other than providing and improving the Service without your explicit consent.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use My Concept Cloud to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Upload malicious content or attempt to compromise our systems
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or copy the Service
  • Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Service

7. AI Features

My Concept Cloud uses AI services including Anthropic's Claude and OpenAI to power features such as concept clustering, writing prompts, and world consistency checking. AI-generated content is provided as suggestions only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content for any purpose. You are responsible for reviewing and using AI suggestions at your own discretion.

8. Intellectual Property

The My Concept Cloud application, website, branding, and all associated technology are owned by Gregory Hudler and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the Service without our explicit written permission.

9. Disclaimers

My Concept Cloud is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We are not responsible for any loss of data, creative work, or other damages resulting from use of the Service.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gregory Hudler shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of My Concept Cloud, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
